FAQs

What is a grommet? What is a pole pocket?

A grommet is a small metal ring pressed into the edge of your backdrop. It reinforces the material so you can hang the backdrop using hooks, zip ties, rope, or bungees.

Grommets are usually placed along the top edge (and sometimes the sides) for easy hanging on walls, fences, or truss systems.

A pole pocket is a sewn (or heat‑welded) sleeve along the edge of your backdrop.

A stand or rod slides through the pocket so the backdrop hangs smoothly.

Pole pockets are ideal for banner stands, backdrop frames, and photo booth setups.

Remember: for each backdrop you must choose either grommets or pole pockets, not both.

Will the colors on my backdrop match what I see on my screen?

We do our best to produce colors as accurately as possible, but exact color matching is not guaranteed. Colors can look different due to monitor settings, device brightness, lighting at your event, and the print process. If you need a very specific color, we recommend providing Pantone or brand color references and/or ordering a small test print first

Can I have grommets and pole pockets on the same backdrop?

No. You must choose either grommets or pole pockets—you cannot select both on a single backdrop.

Choose grommets if you plan to hang the backdrop with hooks, zip ties, or cords.

Choose pole pockets if you plan to slide the backdrop onto a stand or rod.
